Coconut Cookies

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. oats
1 c. coconut
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c. flour

Mix all ingredients together. Form into walnut size balls and press with fork. Bake on lightly greased sheet at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
