Creamy Beef Bake

1 pkg Kraft macaroni and cheese dinner
1 lb hamburger
2 Tbsp chopped onion
2 Tbsp margarine
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
Grated cheddar cheese

Prepare mac and cheese dinner as directed on package. Brown hamburger and onion in margarine. Stir in soup and milk. In a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole, layer half the macaroni dinner and half the meat mixture; repeat layers. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Top with grated cheese and melt until bubbly.
