Lace Cookies

1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp flour
1 c. oats
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp milk
Grated peel of 1 lemon

Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add flour, salt, milk and lemon peel. Beat well. Stir in oats. Drop by level tsp onto ungreased cookie sheets 2" apart. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes. Cool about 2 minutes then carefully remove from cookie sheet. Cookies will be thin & lacy. Makes about 3 dozen.
