Shortbread

1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. flour
3/4 c. butter

Sift cornstarch, powdered sugar, and flour together. Blend in butter with spoon, mixing until a soft, smooth dough forms. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place about 1 1/2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 300 for 20-25 minutes. Store in refrigerator. Makes 3 dozen.
