Turtle Cake

1 box German Chocolate cake mix
1 c. milk
1 pkg (14 oz) caramel candies
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix cake according to directions. Pour 1/2 cake mix into 9x13 cake pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350. Mlet caramel and milk to make a sauce. Remove cake from oven. Pour sauce over cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over top. Pour remaining batter over cake & sauce. Bake additional 17-20 minutes or until done.
