Cheerleader Chocolates

1/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. uncooked oats
3/4 c. nuts

Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in medium saucepan. Stir in syrup and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, to soft ball stage (234). Remove from heat, stir in butter, oats, coconut and nuts. Drop quickly by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Refrigerate. Makes 4 dozen.
