1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 can Campbell's Tomato Rice soup
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. water
Combine 1/2 c. soup, beef, crumbs, eggs, onion, salt & pepper. Mix. Shape into 2 loaves. Brown in skillet in shortening. Cover. Simmer for 25 minutes. Spoon off fat. Add rest of soup and water. Uncover and cook 10 minutes more.
