Category: Recipes

1 1/2 cups rice
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cupplain tomato sauce
3 cloves finely chopped garlic
1/4 oc a medium onion
2 tablespoons oil
4 heaping tablespoons of finely chopped parsley(optional)

In a medium sauce pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add in the fress garlic and onion. Saute for 1-2 minutes until softened. At the same time have the rice cooking in a rice cooker. When rice is done, add in rice, broth, and tomato sauce into the sauce pan in that order. Add the parsley if you're using it. Stir it and bring it to a boil. once it's boiling, turn the heat to low and cover. Let simmer until it looks as if the liquid has evaporated. Also make sure the rice dows not stick to the bottom of the sauce pan because it will burn. (there most likely will be some liquid).
