Chicken Adobo

1 lb. chicken - cut in small pieces - breast, wings, thigh, drumsticks
4 tbsp. soy sauce
4 cloves of garlic - minces
1 bayleaf
1/8 tsp. ground pepper
1/8 cup vinegar - apple cider
1/8 tsp. salt
4 cloves garlic - minced (to be used to brown the chicken)
vegetable oil to brown chicken
Mixed chicken and ingredients together, except the 4 cloves of garlic to be used to brown the chicken. Cook in medium heat until tender. Separate the chicken from sauce.
Saute garlic then add chicken until brown.
Add sauce and simmer for 10 mins.
This serve 4 people.
This is my mother's recipe. It is Filipino dish. There are so many variations in cooking this dish. My mother had a fast food store and she was a good cook.
