Hazelnut Caramel Macchiato

Ingredients:
6 ounces brewed espresso
1/4 cup Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
4 T coconut cream (recommend Coco Real)
1/2 cup heavy cream
2/3 cup heavy cream whipped
caramel sauce
Preparation:
Whip the 2/3 cup heavy cream until stiff peaks
In a small sauce pan combine espresso, liqueur, coconut cream and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Heat until very hot (do not boil). Take 1/4 c of the whipped cream and whisk it into the pan. This will create a foam that will rise to the top of the glass when poured.
Pour into a glass mug like an Irish Coffee mug and top with whipped cream and drizzle caramel sauce on top of cream.
Cooks Notes - I am so excited to find this Coco Real coconut cream. We love the taste of coconut but detest the shredded coconut feel. I also have a new bottle of Frangelico (it was a good sale) that I was dying to use. Since I work at Starbucks and drink the Caramel Macchiato's all the time, this drink came naturally. It is a great weekend morning drink to sip while watching the new episodes on the Food Network. However it is also great for entertaining.
