Irish Mudslide Milkshake

Category: Shakes and Malts

Serves/Makes: 2 servings
Difficulty: 1
Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

1/2 cup + 2 T Irish cream liqueur
1/3 cup Chocolate liqueur (I use Godiva)
2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
1 large banana frozen
1 pint + 1 scoop vanilla bean ice cream

Directions:

Put banana unpeeled in the freezer for 1 hour before making.

Put both liqueurs, cocoa powder and ice cream in blender. Peel frozen banana and cut into 1 inch pieces and add to blender. Blend till smooth.

Cooks Notes: I know a mudslide generally calls for coffee ice cream, but I don't like coffee and the vanilla bean ice cream adds a richness. By freezing the banana it acts like ice cubes only doesn't dilute the shake.
