Italian Dressing Mix

Serves/Makes: Enough for 4 Salads

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

1 t fresh ground pepper
1 t celery salt
2 t ground corriander seed
2 t dried basil
2 t dried thyme
1 T garlic powder
1 T onion powder
1 T white sugar
1 T dried cilantro (or parsley)
1 T kosher salt
2 T dried oregano


Directions:

Put all ingredients in a small ziploc bag. Zip tightly and mix very well. Store in pantry.

To make dressing:

In small bowl of food processor or blender put 2 Tablespoons of dry mix, add 1/4 cup white wine or champagne vinegar and 3/4 cup of olive oil. Mix for 2 minutes.

Cooks Notes: You may try mixing dressing by hand but it will separate after a short while. I found that by mixing in a food processor or blender the dressing stays together indefinitely.
