Not your average meatballs and pasta

Bake temperature 375 degrees
2 lbs. ground sirloin
2 lbs. ground pork
12 oz. italian bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 medium sweet onion chopped
1 large cubanelle pepper diced
15 medium baby belle mushrooms sliced
1 cup of cheap white wine
4 chopped large tomatoes
2 tablespoons cumin
1/2 cup butter
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil
4 quarts chicken stock
1 package of your favorite pasta, recommend angel hair.
Mix very well sirloin, pork, and bread crumbs. Add eggs and milk. Completely combine. Form into medium size meatballs. You should get at least 15. In a hot fry pan pour in enough olive oil to generously coat bottom of the pan fry meatballs until brown on each side. Take the meatballs out of the pan and place in large baking dish. Add onion to the pan. Saute. Add mushrooms and 1/2 cup of butter in the pan. Add salt and pepper, cumin, and the pepper. Saute until tender. Add wine and tomatoes. Cook for 2 minutes. Pour over meatballs place in oven for 1 hour 375 degrees. About 15 minutes before the meatballs are done bring chicken stock to a boil. Cook your favorite pasta according to cook time on the package in a large pot. Drain. Add meatballs and sauce to the pasta.
