Christmas Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

bake time 10 to 12 minutes

1 cup margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup of raisins
green food coloring
red food coloring

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Cream together margarine and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well. Stir in oats and raisins. Mix well. Divide in half. Use enough food coloring in each to color well. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on to cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on sheet 1 minute transfer to wire cooling rack.
