Poor Man`s Turkey

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 14 slices day old bread, cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 pound margarine, melted
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cans (10.75 ounce size) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans (10.75 ounce size) cream of celery soup
- sage, to taste
- oregano, to taste
Press ground beef over bottom of greased 9" x 13" baking pan. Combine bread, onion, margarine, salt and pepper in a bowl, mixing well. Spoon over ground beef. Mix soups in a bowl. Spread over bread mixture. Sprinkle lightly with sage and oregano. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until brown.
