1 stick butter
1 can nibblet corn
2 tsp tony chachere's
1 can chicken broth
1 pint half & half
1 cup white or yellow grits ( not instant )
green onions

melt stick of butter in skillet. saute can of corn ( drained ) with tony chachere's in butter for 15 minutes.
In large pot, mix sauteed corn, chicken broth and half & half. Bring to boil. Add 1 cup grits slowly into pot.
Cook on low for 10 minutes or until grits thicken. Garnish with a few green onions on top.

serves 4-6
