Bloody Mary Cabbage Casserole

leaves from head of cabbage
1 pound ground beef
1 med chopped onion
2 tablespoons italian seasonings
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon black pepper
salt to taste
1 32 oz bottle of Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
1 cup of raw white rice
Brown beef and onion - add all other ingrediants except cabbage, stir until well mixed only.
13 x 9 pyrex or metal pan.
Layers cabbage leaves. pour mixture over all
Bake 375 degree oven for 1 hour.
I serve with cornbread and large white northern butter beans
