Granger Cookies

1 C Shortening
1 C Brown Sugar
1 C White Sugar
2 Eggs
2 C Flour
2 C Oatmeal
2 C Corn Flakes
1 C Cocoanut
1/2 t Baking Powder
1 t Soda
1/2 t Salt

Cream shortening & sugars, add eggs. Combine flour, oatmeal, cocoanut, baking powder, soda, & salt add to the creamed mixture. Add corn flakes. Drop teaspoonful on cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for 12 min.
My Great Aunt Mary used to make and bring these wonderful cookies each time they would come to visit.
