Goat Cheese Spread With Pecans and Herbs

3 tablespoons finely minced parsley
2 tablespoons pecans, finely minced
1 tablespoon snipped chives
1 small clove garlic, peeled, finely minced
12 ounces soft goat cheese, at room temperature
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon red pepper

Combine parsley, pecans, chives and garlic in food processor; process until finely minced. Add goat cheese, olive oil, paprika, cumin and peppers. Process until completely blended.

Transfer to crock or bowl; refrigerate. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before serving.
Yields 1 1/2 cups.
