Prickly Pear Cactus Margarita

4 lime wedges
kosher salt on a small plate
2 cups ice cubes
3 ounces tequila
1/2 cup chopped prickly pear cactus
1/3 cup fresh lime juice
2 ounces Triple Sec or other orange-flavored liqueur

Run a lime wedge around the rim of a large stemmed cocktail glass. Dip the moistened rim in the plate of salt. Set the lime wedge and glass aside. Repeat with three more lime wedges and glasses.

In a blender combine ice, tequila, prickly pear cactus or other fruit,
lime juice and Triple Sec. Blend on high speed. The result should be frothy, not actually frozen. Divide among the prepared glasses.
Squeeze one of the lime wedges into each glass, then drop the wedge in and serve.
Serves 4.
