Tomatillo Summer Salsa

3 large tomatoes, seeded and coarsely chopped
1 small fresh jalapeno chili, seeded and minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. finely chopped cilantro
2 tomatillos, husks removed and finely chopped
juice from 1 small lime
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Stir together until well-blended.

Cover and chill at least 30 minutes or up until 1 hour before serving.
Keeps 4 days in the refrigerator.

Serve with chips or sliced vegetables.
Yields 2 cups.
