Creamy Chive-Tarragon Sauce

1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or frozen parsley, thawed
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives or frozen chives, thawed
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon leaves or frozen tarragon, thawed
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
salt
ground black pepper

Blend sour cream with mayonnaise in bowl until smooth. Stir in parsley, chives and tarragon.

Add lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Sauce can be refrigerated, covered, up to 2 days.
Yields 1 1/4 cups.
