Simple Homemade Lemonade

Juice of 5 lemons, about 1/2 cup
1 cup sugar
4 cups spring water, divided

Remove seeds but not pulp from lemon juice.

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar with 2 cups of the water.
Bring to boil. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Cool.

Add remaining 2 cups water. Chill. Pour over ice into tall glasses.
Makes 8 servings.
