Baked Ham with Fresh Pineapple Salsa

2 pound slice ham

Salsa:
1/2 fresh pineapple, peeled and finely chopped
1 small sweet red pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1/2 small red onion, finely diced
1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
juice of 2 limes
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
salt and pepper to taste

Bake ham in 300 degrees oven 75 to 90 minutes, or until heated through.

While this occurs, combine salsa ingredients in a bowl and allow flavours to meld at room temperature 30 minutes.

Thinly slice the ham and serve salsa alongside.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
