Out of this World Potato Soup

1 stick margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
1-8 oz. container French onion dip
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 soup cans of milk
8 to 10 medium potatoes, peeled, cubed & boiled but left firm

Saute' onion with margarine in a Dutch oven until tender. Add dip, soup and milk. Stir until soup is smooth. Add boiled potatoes and cook on medium heat until potatoes are done.

Can be topped with crumbled bacon or cheese.

Serves 6-8

This is a very hearty, rich soup and ooohhh so delicious!!
