Crock Pot Pork Carnitas

4 lb. pork shoulder, excess fat trimmed
1 Tbsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
4 cloves garlic, peeled
2 yellow onions, quartered
2 oranges, juiced
2 limes, juiced

Combine chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper. Season pork with spice mixture, rubbing in thoroughly on all sides. Place pork, onions, garlic and fruit juice in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours or until meat is falling apart. Turn cooker down to low, remove pork shoulder from cooker and shred meat before returning to cooker. Season to taste with salt and pepper if needed and serve.
