Ingredients:
2 tbsp. butter
2 lamb shoulders or legs, cubed
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 cups water (or beef stock)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
6-8 medium potatoes, quartered
3-4 carrots, cut horizontally into 2" pieces
Spice Sachet made of
1 tbsp. of garlic chives chopped
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. fresh thyme
1small sprig of rosemary

Directions for cooking:On med heat, in a stock pot, brown lamb slowly in butter. Add onion and garlic and saute for 5 minutes. Add water or stock, salt and pepper, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Add potatoes and carrots, or any other vegetables you like, throw in, and the spice sachet. Simmer on med-low for 45 minutes.
