  • 1 (12-inch size) unbaked pizza crust
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 ounces Canadian bacon, diced
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 small green or red bell pepper, cut in rings
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried basil
  • crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Place the pizza crust on an ungreased pizza pan. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Sprinkle half of the Mozzarella evenly over the sauce. Evenly arrange the Canadian bacon slices over the cheese.

Top the Canadian bacon with the sliced mushrooms and bell pepper rings.

Combine the oregano, basil, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the pizza. Top with the remaining Mozzarella.

Place the pizza in the oven and bake at 450 degrees F for 13-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden around the edges and the cheese is melted.

Remove the pizza from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before slicing with a pizza cutter.
