Semi Homemade Peach Cobbler

Category: Recipes

Materials:

1 Large can of Del Monte Peach Slices in Heavy Syrup or your FAVORITE fruit
1 cup of self rising flour
1/2 cup of milk
1 stick of butter
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 cup of sugar
Vanilla Ice Cream (Optional)
1 Shallow glass baking dish

Makes 4-6 servings depending on serving size.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Place one stick of butter into a shallow glass baking dish and melt eith in the stove or the microwave.

While butter is melting mix together the flour, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract-this will be the batter

Open the can of peaches or your favorite fruit (One can even add a small can of fruit, but drain the juice of the small can and JUST ADD FRUIT)

Once butter is melted remove the dish from oven or microwave and tip dish back and forth to cover the dish completely.

Place dish on flat surface and add the fruit with syrup and then pour the batter mix on top. There is no stirring necessary the self rising flour will do the work for you.

place in the oven for 30-45 minutes depending on individual oven heating times, so I usually check it after 30 minutes if the crust is nice and golden brown it is ready. (It usually takes the entire 45 minutes)

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
