6 egg yolks
2 TBS sour cream
½ tsp salt
1 jigger whiskey (or other favorite)
2 cups of flour (more if dough is to soft)
Vegetable oil for frying
Mix all ingredients together, knead for 10 minutes, Chill 1 hour in plastic wrap. Roll dough very thin. Cut into strips about 2 ½ inches wide. Cut these into 3 inch pieces. Cut a small slit in the middle of each one, carefully turn inside out (so that it resembles an angels wings). Fry in 370 degree oil. Turning once. Dough will bubble slightly. Let drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powder sugar when cool.
