- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 cups flour
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Sift flour and baking powder together, gradually add to creamed mixture. Roll dough to about 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut out with cookie cutters. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet until light brown.
