Cornbread Mexican

1 cup self-rising cornmeal
3/4 cup self-rising flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups creamed corn
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cheese (Mexican cheese blend)
1/2 cup jalapeno pepper (optional)

Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Brush cast iron skillet with vegetable oil and place in oven for about 10 minutes.
Mix all ingredients in bowl.
Take skillet out of oven and pour the cornmeal batter in skillet.
Bake for about 35 minutes.
