DBGA - Healthy Oatmeal Cinnamon Cookies

Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup oats (not quick oats)
- .25 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- .5 tsp baking soda
- 1.5 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- .25 cup unsweetened applesauce
- .25 tsp salt (optional)
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 whole egg


Instructions:

1)Sift together flour, allspice, cinnamon, baking soda and salt

2)In a separate bowl, mix together sugar and olive oil. Then mix in vanilla, applesauce and egg.

3)Mix the dry ingredients into the wet, then stir in oats

4)Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper and scoop out 10 cookies with heaping tablespoon. Bake 10 minutes at 350.


Serving Suggestions:
Cookies get wet after sitting. May want to toast the leftovers before eating.
