Ready in: < 30 minutes
- 1 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
- 2 tablespoons finely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons sugar or sugar substitute
- 1 large raw egg or egg beaters equivalent
- OR
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Combine the Italian salad dressing, Parmesan cheese, sugar, and egg (or mayo) in a blender on high speed until smooth. Place the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Add the dressing mixture and olive oil and whisk constantly until the mixture is thick and heated through. Transfer the Olive Garden copycat salad dressing to a jar with a lid and chill for several hours before using. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
