RHUBARB CAKE

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup shortening (Crisco or margarine)
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
2 cups diced rhubarb
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all but last two ingredients together. Pour into a 9-inch by 13-inch pan. Mix together 1/2 cup white granulated sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes.
