Ingredients:
1 Pound Crab Meat (Lump Suggested)
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon of Mustard
2 Tablespoons of Finely Chopped Red Pepper
1 Tablespoons of Old Bay (A Maryland Spice)
1 Tablespoon Minced Parsley
1/2 Cup of Bread Crumbs
1 Large Egg
*If Baking, which is suggested,
2 Tablespoons of Butter.
*If Frying, 6 Tablespoons of Butter...
Directions:
Hand mix all ingredients together, except for the butter, keeping the lump crab meat in original lump form as much as possible. Shape the patties and dust each patty with MORE Old Bay.
*If Baking, spread butter over baking pan, and set the patties evenly on top. Place in the oven at 350, and bake, flipping once until golden brown on each side; Time depending on size and thickness of patty.
*If Frying, melt the butter in a pan then add patties. Cook golden brown on each side, and it is suggested placing the patties on a paper towel for thirty seconds or so to absorb the extra butter.
Serve with lemon wedges, and my personal favorite, a cold and slightly dark brew.
