Creamy Garlic Dressing

1 c veg oil
1/2 c sour cream
1/4 c heavy cream
1/4 c cider vinegar
1 t salt
pepper to taste
1/2 t dry mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 T chives, chopped

Combine oil, sour cream, cream, vinegar, salt, pepper, mustard, garlic, chives
Blend until smooth. Chill.
Refrigerate leftovers in a covered container <4 days.

Salad Dressing

1/4 c p chopped shallots
3/4 c red wine vinegar
1 pasteurized egg
1/2 t dried oregano
1/2 t dried basil
1/2 t Dijon
1 T honey
3 T lemon juice
10 shakes Tabasco
1/2 T salt
1/2 t black pepper
1 1/2 c olive oil
3/4 c canola oil

In a food processor shallots, vinegar, egg, oregano, basil, mustard, honey, juice, tabasco.
With motor running, slowly add olive and canola oils to form an emulsion.
Add salt and pepper.
