Spicy Herb Roasted Nuts

Yields: 5 cups
they'll keep in freezer for 1 month.


Ingredients
1 1/2 c almonds
1 1/2 c walnut halves
1 c hazelnuts
1 c pecan halves
1/2 c maple syrup
1/4 t cayenne
1 1/2 t oregano leaves
1 1/2 t sage leaves
1 1/2 t thyme leaves
1 1/2 t rosemary leaves
1 1/2 t savory leaves
1 1/2 t marjoram leaves
3 T olive oil
1 t kosher salt

Mix almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, maple syrup, cayenne, oregano, sage, thyme, rosemary, savory, marjoram, and oil in a 10x15" rimmed pan.
Sprinkle nuts with 1 teaspoon salt.
Bake 300F 45 min.
Stir occasionally until all liquid evaporates and nuts are golden under the skin (break open to test)
