1 cup soft butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
1 cup almonds, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butters and sugars until fluffy. Add almond extract. Completely combine. Combine baking soda and flour in separate bowl with wire whisk. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture. Refrigerated for 1 or 2 hours. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies will still be light in color.
