Russian Type Salad Dressing

Ingredients:

1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 cup salad oil
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup grated onion


Directions:

Cook sugar and 3 tablespoons water until mixture spins a thread. Cool. Mix remaining ingredients, beat in syrup. Chill.
