1 pound of Beef (flank, tri tip or top sirloin steak), thinkly sliced
2 tbsp Oil
1 bunch of Green Onions, sliced into 1 inch strips (optional)
Cooked Rice
Directions:
Follow the instructions on the packet. Should be something like this:
Cook a bunch of rice (about 1/3 cup per person)
Combine seasoning packet, soy sauce, and water; blend and set aside.
Heat 2 Tbsp oil in large skillet over medium high heat until hot. Add meat and cook until evenly browned.
Stir in sauce mixture and continue cooking until meat is coated and sauce is thickened.
Stir in green onions if desired.
Serve over cooked rice.
We used Sunbird brand Mongolian Beef seasoning packet and beef brisket. The sauce turned out too thick and too strong. Next time, don’t cook as long, or try adding more water. Kelly says also that packet is too spicy
