Jeff Davis Pie


Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups brown sugar
4 egg yolks
2 tsp flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup dates
9" unbaked pie shell


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks. Mix real good. Combine flour and spices. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until set. Cool. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
