Devila Food cake frosting

3/4 cup flour
3 cup milk
3/4 lb butter
1 1/2 cup Crisco
3 cup sugar
3/8 tsp salt
3 Tbsp vanilla

Make a smooth paste of flour and milk. Cool until thick and cool.
Cream together and then mix with cooled mixture the butter, Crisco, sugar, salt and vanilla.
Cream until fluffy and add to cooled mixture. Spread at once on cooled cake and sprinkle with coconut.
