Pumpkin Pecan loaf

4 large eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
14 oz can of pure pumpkin (no spices)
1 cup cooking oil
3 cups all purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cloves
Beat eggs in large bowl until frothy. Add sugar, pumpkin and cooking oil. Beat until smooth.
Combine remaining 8 ingredients in medium bowl. Add to pumpkin mixture. Stir until just moistened. Divide and spoon into 2 greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Spread evenly. Bake in 350 F oven for about 1 hour until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand in pans for 10 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool. Makes 2 loaves. Each loaf cut into 16 slices for a total of 32 slices.
