Mexican Pie

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 (4 oz) can chopped green chilies
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
1 1/4 cup milk
3/4 cup bisquick
3 eggs
1/2 tsp red pepper sauce

Preheat oven to 400 F. Lightly grease a 10 inch pie plate. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet and drain off grease. Stir in seasoning mix. Spread beef mixture into pie plate. Sprinkle with green chile and cheese. Mix remaining ingredients until smooth for 15 seconds in blender on high speed for 1 minute with hand mixer. Pour on top of the meat mixture. Bake until golden brown for 25-30 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting. Garnish with peppers and shredded cheese if desired.
