Barbecued Chicken

3/4 cup onion
1/2 cup margarine
3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp mustard
1 tsp pepper
3 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 chickens (divided into parts)

Saute onion and margarine in pan, add ketchup, water, lemon juice, sugar, mustard, pepper and worcestershire. Cook for 15 minutes. Salt chicken and dip into mixture. Place in baking pan. Bake 90 minutes at 350 F. Baste with sauce several times while cooking.
