Cream cheese tarts

Serves 24

24 oz cream cheese, softened
5 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat cream cheese in bowl. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Fill paper lined miniature muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 325 F for 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes. Blend sour cream with remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Spoon in center of each tart. Bake for 5 minutes longer. Cool. Spoon pie filling over top. Chill in refrigerator.
