Serves 9

1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp milk
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp white corn syrup
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1 cup water
2 Tbsp strawberry gelatin
4 cup small whole strawberries

Mix first 5 ingredients in bowl. Pat into 9x9 inch baking dish. Prick bottom with fork. Bake at 350 F until light brown. Cool. Mix 1 cup sugar, syrup, cornstarch and water in 3 quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick and clear, stirring constantly. Add gelatin; stir until dissolved. Cool. Stir in strawberries. Spoon over crust. Chill until firm.
