Ice Cream Dessert

Serves 12

2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 sticks margarine, melted
2 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
1 (12 oz) jar chocolate ice cream topping

Line baking sheet with foil. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, pecans and margarine in bowl; mix well. Spread on prepared baking sheet. Bake at 300 F for 30-35 minutes or until light brown, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle half the mixture in greased 3 quart dish. Layer ice cream and topping over crumbs. Top with remaining crumbs. Freeze for several hours to 1 week.
