Ham and Broccoli Bake

Serves 12

1 (10 oz) pkg frozen chopped broccoli
12 sliced white bread
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cup chopped cooked ham
2 tsp chopped onion
6 eggs, beaten
3 1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp dry mustard

Cook broccoli according to pkg directions until partially cooked; drain. Trim and discard crust from bread. Cut each slice with doughnut cutter. Place bread scraps in greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with onion. Arrange bread doughnuts over top. Beat eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard in bowl. Pour over layers. Refrigerate, covered for 6 hours or longer. Bake at 325 F for 1 hour. Let stand for 10 minutes. Cut into 12 squares.
